Coastal Camp 2018 dates and prices are available! Registration begins in January!
A day at Coastal Camp is a day spent connecting with nature. Coastal Camp's weekly themes vary and topics include: marine biology, coastal ecology, conservation, and cultural history. With the Marin Headlands as our backdrop, campers learn more about the topics they love. Our highly qualified staff engage campers’ interests and curiosity with a program that is flexible and adaptive to each group's needs.
Exploring a national park
Coastal Camp is a proud partner of the National Park Service. Our weeklong day camps in the Marin Headlands provide campers with a unique coastal setting. Everyday we explore the park and engage campers' curious minds and boundless energy by having fun and investigating the natural world.
Learning and adventures
Campers get up close with tidepool creatures in the intertidal marine lab, create field sketches while overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, sail the Bay on an 82 foot schooner, and hike along coastal trails to the historic Point Bonita Lighthouse. Campers connect with nature while forging friendships and developing interpersonal and leadership skills.
Convenience and quality
Coastal Camp was founded in 2006 and has been providing high quality, experiential learning and fun ever since. Our highly trained staff of educators and counselors have extensive backgrounds working with kids. We offer convenient transportation from San Francisco and Marin, extended care options, and financial assistance.
