Experience a live animal visit from wildlife rescue service WildCare, observe wild animals like newts and pelicans in their Headlands home and get hands-on while investigating crawling creatures in the pond.

  • Tour the Native Plant Nursery

Discover the secrets of seldom seen sharks of the Pacific as you uncover the mysterious world of carnivorous fish and discover what else lies beneath the waves. Hike along scenic ocean vistas, exploring small tide pools and maybe even spotting frolicking marine mammals at the Point Bonita overlook! This week is all about our unique marine ecosystem and our place within it.

  • Pet a live leopard shark with the Marine Science Institute

  • Visit our intertidal marine lab and interact with tide pool critters

  • Build your own mini boat and test its buoyancy

  • Make Shark Art

  • Hike to the Point Bonita overlook and observe harbor seals
