NatureBridge is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to our national parks and offers scholarships to those in need of financial assistance. Please read our scholarship policy and complete and submit the application below.

Policy Statement

Coastal Camp is a program of NatureBridge, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meaningful experiences in the natural world for all children. We are pleased to be able to offer partial Coastal Camp scholarships to help ensure more folks can access the outdoors. Because of our desire to assist as many families as possible, we are typically unable to provide full scholarships.

Financial assistance will be disbursed based on the applicant’s demonstrated financial need. All scholarships include complimentary shuttles or early and after-care. Each camper is eligible for one partial scholarship per summer.

Selection Process & Timeline

The Senior Camp Manager will determine applicant eligibility for scholarships based on a thorough review of the scholarship application. Award amounts are determined by total household income and number of residents. NatureBridge Golden Gate will begin accepting scholarship applications in January 2024, and will review applications on a rolling basis. You can expect to receive a notification regarding the status of your request within one week of submitting your application. If you are approved for a scholarship, you will receive a unique link to be used for registration. After you have registered, the Senior Camp Manager will take care of the back-end logistics to finish your registration and will give you options for payment.
